How is Laser Tattoo Removal Performed?
During the procedure, very short laser pulses are focused on your tattoo. The laser light is absorbed into the skin causing the conversion of light energy into acoustic waves that effectively break up the ink particles, which are then naturally eliminated by your body. The PiQo4 does not use heat and only targets ink, so the skin surrounding the tattoo is not harmed. Multiple sessions are usually necessary to completely remove the appearance of the tattoo. A treatment series can range from two sessions up to 10 sessions, six to eight weeks apart. Areas with greater circulation require fewer sessions.
