What Is Clarivein® Treatment?
ClariVein® is a minimally invasive procedure to treat varicose veins. Using ultrasound guidance, a small ClariVein® catheter is inserted into the targeted vein. The tip of the catheter has a paddle that rotates inside the vein and damages the inner lining of the vein and solution is released to seal the vein. The radiologist carefully moves the ClariVein® devices down the vein until it is completely sealed.
Is The Clarivein® Treatment Painful?
ClariVein® treatment is not painful at all. We only use a small amount of local anesthetic for the initial puncture with a needle to insert the ClariVein catheter. It is unlikely you will feel anything throughout the procedure. Unlike other versions of catheterized vein reduction, ClariVein® requires far less local anesthetic and is a quick, comfortable experience.
What Are The Benefits Of Clarivein®?
ClariVein® treatment offers a number of advantages to patients. ClariVein® treatments offer the following advantages:
- Minimally-invasive procedure
- Comfortable procedure
- No thermal energy, which lessens chance of nerve injury during treatment
- Outpatient procedure
- Requires significantly less anesthetic than other treatments
What Are The Results?
